Mike Williams, President and Chief Operating Officer
Mike founded AAGEX Freight Group, LLC in 2016, after nearly 20 years in the logistics industry, to continue a career dedicated to helping freight transportation and logistics entrepreneurs achieve their greatest success through service excellence. Mike promotes critical thinking leadership, “best solution” engineering, proactive risk administration, and customer experience excellence with a relentless pursuit of business growth and expansion. Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, graduate degrees from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and the University of Florida. He went on to receive a Certification in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) from the University of North Florida. He is currently a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, the American Society for Transportation and Logistics, the Transportation Club of Jacksonville, the JAX Chamber of Commerce, and the JAX Chamber Transportation and Logistics Council.
Rebecca M. Ebbecke, Chief Financial Officer
Rebecca’s extensive background in finance, business administration, operations and law, brings significant corporate finance expertise to the leadership team. Her previous positions include Director of Finance with a national marketing company, CFO for a multi-company international conglomerate, including Clear Channel and Televisa, where as an Executive Committee member, Rebecca was an integral part of managing the diligence process in the sale of the business to a multi-billion-dollar strategic buyer.
In addition to her finance experience and credentials, Rebecca is also an attorney. As a regular on the Dean’s List in both college and law school, she earned summa cum laude honors for each degree, and a position as a Federal Judicial Clerk, and Faculty Teaching Fellow. Among her recognitions, Ms. Ebbecke received the Colorado Society of CPA’s Gold Key Award and was named the American Society of Women Accountants Top Woman Accounting Graduate.
Jon Bramlett, Vice President – Operations
Jon’s impressive career in freight transportation and logistics began with a small Jacksonville-based company and includes progressively advanced positions with increasing responsibility at large organizations. As an operations specialist, he brings a wealth of experience to the leadership team. Jon is responsible for developing and executing the company’s truckload operations strategy and providing support to the AGX network of talented sales professionals.
In his early career days, Jon advanced through Stonier Transportation Group as a freight coordinator, branch manager, and operations manager, earning accolades for his commitment to service quality excellence. While working as the Transportation Manager at NYK Logistics, he led a high performing truckload and intermodal services team. Making his mark at the Crowley organization, Jon served as the Manager of Brokerage Services, Manager of Intermodal Carrier Team, and General Manager of Customized Trucking. Jon attended West Georgia College, where he received his undergraduate degree.
James Bagwell, Senior Vice President Sales
James joined AGX in February 2017 as Senior Vice President of Sales. He has worked in the transportation and logistics industry for over 25 years. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including National Sales Executive, Executive Vice President of Business Development, and Executive Vice President of Sales. His experience includes transportation management and freight movement within asset-based trucking, brokerage, LTL, intermodal, and yard management, representing companies such as NYK Logistics and Conway Freight. James earned his degree from the College of Charleston. Outside of work, James is an avid fisherman and is a USCG licensed captain.
Kim Watson, Director of Business Services & Human Resources
Kim has been in the freight transportation and logistics industry since 2005 and has developed a passion for working with spirited, independent freight agents assisting in their business growth and professional development. Throughout her impressive career, she has gained expertise in key back-office support functions, including carrier relations, freight claims administration, credit collections, and finance. In her role as Director of Business Services and Human Resources, Kim leads the administration and staffing for AGX and maintains responsibility for the seamless integration of our network of logistics professionals.
Kim is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and earned her Certificate in Transportation and Logistics from the University of North Florida.
Bill Sandberg, Vice President – Technology
Bill’s role is to ensure that our infrastructure and technology platforms perform. Bill’s experience includes roles as chief information officer, executive vice president, and board member for logistics and trucking companies such as Rising Sun Systems and NYK Logistics. Bill received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of North Florida. In his spare time, Bill loves spending time with his family and is an avid supporter of youth leadership development programs such as the Boy Scouts of America.
Mark Weiss, Senior Vice President – Network Development and Brokerage Operations
Mark has more than 22 years of sales and operations experience in the transportation and logistics industry. He was a founder at Sunteck Transport Company Inc., which for years was considered a leading freight agent network, and was an integral part of its growth from a $2 million start-up in 1998 to nearly $400 million in 2015. Since 2016, Mark has worked as an independent consultant representing several logistics companies. Mark offers a unique perspective from his own early experience as a freight agent, and then as a corporate executive, which gives him a true appreciation for the freight agent entrepreneur. He brings an invaluable expertise in building and maintaining successful freight agent networks.
